Do you accept my insurance?​
We accept most major insurance plans, including DMBA, SelectHealth, PEHP, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna,United Healthcare, and many more. If you're not sure whether we're in-network for your plan, give us a call and we'll check for you before you transfer.​

Can you fill prescriptions for my pets?
​Absolutely. We fill prescriptions for dogs, cats, horses, and other animals. Just have your veterinarian call or fax the prescription to us, or bring in a written copy. Same fast service, same fair prices.​

How do I transfer my prescriptions to Mears Pharmacy or Morgan Drug?​
Just give us a call at (801) 447-9484 (Farmington) or (801) 829-3262 (Morgan).
We handle everything: contacting your previous pharmacy, coordinating with your doctor if needed, and getting your medications ready. Most transfers are completed the same day.

​What is Medication Synchronization (Med Sync)?​
Med Sync aligns all of your prescription refills so they're ready on the same day each month. Instead of making multiple trips to the pharmacy, you pick up everything at once (or we deliver it).There's no extra cost. Our team coordinates with your prescribers to make it happen.​

Do you offer flu shots and other vaccinations?​
Yes. Our pharmacists are certified to administer flu shots, COVID boosters, shingles vaccines, Tdap, pneumonia vaccines, and more. Walk-ins are welcome, no appointment needed. We bill your insurance directly, and most visits take about 15 minutes.​

What is Point-of-Care Testing?​
We offer rapid in-pharmacy testing for strep and flu at both Mears Pharmacy and Morgan Drug. Through a collaborative practice agreement, our pharmacists can test you and, if positive, prescribe treatment on the spot, so you don't need a separate doctor visit.​

 

Are your prices competitive with the big chains?​

In many cases, our cash prices are the same or lower than what you'd pay at a chain pharmacy. We're happy to quote you a price before we fill anything, just call or stop in. If you don't have insurance, we'll help you find coupons and savings programs too.​

 

What's the difference between an independent pharmacy and a chain?​

At a chain, decisions about your care are made by a corporate office. At Mears Pharmacy and Morgan Drug, your pharmacy is owned by a local pharmacist. That means shorter wait times, more time for questions, and the flexibility to go above and beyond, whether that's calling your doctor to sort out an issue or delivering your medications to your door.
